Q: How do I know how much it will cost to ship my gift?
A: When you place your item in the shopping cart there is a drop down menu of shipping options. Clicking on each option will show you the cost for each type of shipping for that item.

Q: Why is overnight shipping so expensive?
A: You are basically paying for a plane ride for your package, and with the price of fuel rising shipping costs are also rising. The cost to mail a letter first class is $.42. To overnight that same letter is $12.60 a 3000% increase in price. Our packages weigh more and are much larger than a letter so the cost to get space on the plane is more. If your gift can arrive in a few days rather than overnight you will save significantly on shipping!

Q: Can I ship to a PO Box?
A: Yes, but you must use priority mail or express mail as your shipping choice. UPS will not deliver to PO Boxes.

Q: When will my gift be delivered?
A: Usually within three to seven business days via ground service. Orders received by Noon EST will ship that same day. Other shipping options such as next day delivery are available. When deciding on your delivery choice do not include the date of your order as one of your shipping days.

Q: Is same day delivery available?
A: No. We ship all gifts and do not offer local delivery. Next day delivery is available on orders received by Noon EST Monday - Friday, unless it is a US Holiday.

Q: Can I specify a delivery date?
A: YES. When placing your order use the "future date" field to type in a date that is more than a week away from your purchase date. Book Bouquet will ship your gift to arrive on the date you enter.

Q: Can I ship a gift to a HOSPITAL?
A: YES, BUT please note hospitals only deliver patient mail once per day. If your gift arrives to the hospital after patient mail has been delivered it won't reach the recipient until the next day. We strongly recommend shipping to a home address if the person is not in a long term care facility. Also, hospitals do not forward patient mail, but return it to the sender (that's Book Bouquet) so if the patient is discharged before receiving their package the hospital will ship it back to Book Bouquet and you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges to re-send your gift to another address.

Q: Can I ship to a hospital for weekend delivery?
A: No. Our gifts are shipped and therefore go through the hospitals recieving dock area, not through the front doors. Receiving docks are not staffed on weekends so no weekend delivery is available.

Q: Can I have my gift delivered on a weekend?
A: Yes, if shipping via Express Mail then Saturday delivery is available to residential addresses only. Please note not all areas have express mail delivery available on weekends. If you are shipping to a small town then most likely they will not offer weekend delivery of your package. Sunday delivery is not available.

Q: My gift was shipped but they still don't have it, what do I do?
A: Your gift could still be on it's way, but sometimes things do happen. Please call us and we will contact the shipping carrier for you to determine what the status of your shipment is. Note: incorrect, incomplete and undeliverable addresses (carrier is not able to leave box and recipient has not been home to receive gift) can all result in delays. Please double check your shipping information to be sure it is correct. A fee of $10.00 is charged for address corrections that are made by the shipping company.

Q: Where do you ship to?
A: Your gift basket can be shipped to anywhere in the United States. Orders received Monday - Friday by Noon EST will ship the same day. Orders received after Noon EST and on holidays or weekends will ship on the next business day. Customer assumes all responsibility for providing a correct shipping address. Book Bouquet is not be responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses.

Q: What if my gift does not arrive in time or arrives damaged?
A: If your gift arrives damaged the shipping box and materials must be held until the shipping carrier has the opportunity to inspect the damages. Once we receive word from the shipping carrier regarding the damages a replacement gift or refund can be given. If your gift was shipped via UPS Next Day, UPS 2 Day or UPS 3 Day and UPS failed to deliver your gift on time then you are entitled to a refund of your shipping charges.
